Caerdydd, Wales

Jesse & I have been hanging out in Wales for the last month. We've had the honor of meeting and chillin with several really lush people. I'm ashamed to say before we got here I really didn't know anything at all about the culture, history and people of Wales even though whenever I saw it on the map ever since I was little it always intrigued me. I knew about the Welsh Revival in the early 1900's and that Princess Diana was from here, but thats about it. Since we've been here though I've completely fallen in love with this tiny country with a big heart.

I'll take you on a little photographic journey of our time here so far!

outside Cardiff Castle our first day here, fresh off the bus from London

a park right around the corner from Cardiff Castle. i found this little stone circle around an evergreen tree with daffodils everywhere

our friend we are staying with is a DJ and this was at his gig one night in downtown Cardiff...this rad saxophone player showed up, i think he was from Spain, and totally rocked the place

graffiti on Barri Island

this part of wales has the 2nd highest tides in the world. pretty intense!

there are dozens of bible translations in the attic (our room) including 2 of my favorites: the Knox and the Complete Jewish Bible

there is no shortage of great literature here! 2 books i am currently absorbed in: Wild Wandering
and
Life of St. Columba by Adomnan of Iona

Deep peace of the
running waves to you

Deep peace of the
flowing air to you

Deep peace of the
quiet earth to you

Deep peace of the
shining stars to you

Deep peace of the
Son of Peace to you
